Frank has been enjoying his work in the IT industry for the past 5 years. He has a growing passion for the industry and is excited to begin work on getting his credentials and certifications. His hobbies outside of work include playing guitar, ukulele, and piano. Frank loves to spend time with his dog and fiancée. He considers himself a foodie and enjoys trying new restaurants and exploring different cultures through food.

Nikki’s education and work experience deem her an Accountant by trade; but her personality and interests say she is anything but. After grad school and 10 years in corporate accounting, she left the grind to be a full-time Mom. Her ambitious nature drove her to tackle some new, flexible gigs that allowed her to be home with the kids, yet still feel empowered as a business-woman. While juggling two gorgeous babies, a Neapolitan Mastiff, and, most recently, a wild, English Lab puppy – she flipped a house, taught as an Accounting adjunct, and runs the finance/accounting for her husband’s start-up company (where she was lucky enough to be connected to D2 through). Nikki is slightly obsessed with her kids… is getting better at making time for herself and her husband, loves DIY for the home, listening to music, reading, and hot yoga.

Sr. Technical Service Analyst

Mike is from Mount Airy, Philadelphia, and has been in the IT industry for 12 years. After graduating from West Chester University, he worked for several nonprofits in roles ranging from helpdesk to Director. He is known as an outside the box problem solver who can communicate technical ideas to anyone. Outside of work, Mike loves spending time with his family, as well as doing home improvement projects, reading, watching movies, and yelling at the Eagles.

Ben helps small businesses optimize their technology resources by developing plans that closely align with the rest of the business’s goals. His impact is felt externally through new strategies and execution for clients to better utilize technology within their business. He has a vision for D2 to help as many businesses with their technology as possible without ever losing the ability to connect with individuals on the more fine-tuned and personal aspects of the job. Ben is a self-described ‘beach bum’ and a foodie from Ambler, PA. He trains jiu jitsu regularly, currently a blue belt, and is an avid fan of martial arts and combat sports all around.

Technical Service Analyst

Max gets his hands dirty every day to work through technology problems, including individual day-to-day issues as well as wide-scale holistic challenges. Max helps businesses overcome technical challenges one problem at a time, with a special focus on problems related to networking and security. Max earned his B.S in Chemistry from Delaware Valley University and comes from a customer service background. He is a soccer player and soccer fan from Chalfont, PA who enjoys getting on the field himself and following the game professionally in various leagues.

Patricia Drummond

Business Manager

Patricia manages the day-to-day tasks needed to support the future growth of the company including reception, bookkeeping, client coordination, and sales support. She helps D2’s clients through the delivery of service agreements that suit their individual businesses and make their lives easier. Patricia also assists D2 in the critical administrative components inherent to all small businesses. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Towson University as well as an MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. Patricia is an animal enthusiast and a foodie from East Norriton, PA. She also has a passion for knitting and creates truly amazing handmade beanies.

Tom Drummond

CEO & Founder

Tom coordinates oversight of all company operations, including sourcing of hardware and software solutions, and he plays a critical role in the management of all things related to D2. His mission is to use his vast knowledge and experience of distribution channels, as well as his expertise in project oversight and C-level technology decisions, to help organizations of all sizes increase their technological efficiency. Tom is a senior living home volunteer and a proud father of 3 from Whitpain, PA. He is also an avid runner, a member of the Philly Runner Track Club, and enjoys spending time in Holmes Beach, FL with his wife, Debbie where he enjoys boating and fishing.

John Mattern
John Mattern
VP of Technology

John is a ‘jack of all trades’ technically and has extensive experience in everything from server and network infrastructure architecture to cyber security and software development. After more than ten years in the managed services industry, he has dealt with just about every technical issue imaginable and loves resolving every challenge that comes along. John has a B.S. in Information Systems/Software Development from the University of Massachusetts, holds a CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) in multiple disciplines. In his free time, John enjoys visiting the beaches of Cape May and Strathmere, NJ. He also loves spending time with his wife and their extensive four-legged family, playing golf and hockey, and traveling.

Adriane Schaffer

Internal Operations Manager

Adriane has a decade of experience and expertise in the VOIP and IT industry. Throughout those 10 years, she has worn many hats, such as Project Manager, Sales Engineer, and Internal Operations Manager. Outside of work, Adriane enjoys spending time with her husband and their dog, Brody. A true enthusiast of the arts, she embraces the world of musical theatre and immerses herself in the pleasures of reading. Adriane is a lover of history and is always eager to dive into stories of the past. When it is time to unwind, she’ll visit various breweries and wineries to discover new taste and flavors.
