Tom Drummond
Tom Drummond
President / Founder

Tom coordinates oversight of all company operations, including sourcing of hardware and software solutions, and he plays a critical role in the management of all things related to D2. His mission is to use his vast knowledge and experience of distribution channels, as well as his expertise in project oversight and C-level technology decisions, to help organizations of all sizes increase their technological efficiency. Tom is a hospital volunteer and a proud father of 3 from Whitpain, PA. He is also an avid runner, a member of the Philly Runner Track Club, and enjoys spending time in Ocean City NJ with his wife, Debbie.

Ben Drummond

VP of Customer Success

Ben orchestrates solution design and development of business processes and growth, including internal impact, by discovering new ways for D2 to better provide value. His impact is felt externally through detailed assessments of new strategies for clients to better utilize technology within their business. Ben helps small businesses optimize their technology resources by developing plans that closely align with the rest of the business’s goals. He has a vision for D2 to help as many businesses with their technology as possible without ever losing the ability to connect with individuals on the more fine-tuned details of the job. Ben is a self-described ‘beach bum’ and a BBQ enthusiast from Ambler, PA. He was the captain of his wrestling team and still enjoys following combat sports.

Alex Alvarado

IT Operations Manager

Alex has experience in the IT field, from both B2B and B2C perspectives, working for a very wide range of organizations, from small and medium-sized businesses to large enterprises. He has personally led the development of large IT departments and has guided others on major restructuring programs. He handles everything from vendor management, contract negotiation, and IT security audits to analysis of performance metrics. Alex is also skilled at managing hybrid teams that work both in-office and remotely. His technical proficiencies include Confluence, Salesforce, Cisco Meraki, Linux Red Hat, and Windows and Apple environments, as well as managing VoIP for high volume call centers. His avocation outside of work is travel. He enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and off-roading in new places while taking in the local architecture, technology, and restaurants.

Kim Brehm

Accountant

Kim maintains accurate QuickBooks records and payroll to keep D2’s financial and administrative processes moving forward in an organized and accurate fashion. She helps D2 solve internal challenges with finance and accounting thanks to her meticulous attention to details, policies, and procedures. Kim is a graduate of Delaware Valley University, with a B.A. in Accounting. She is a certified QuickBooks Pro Adviser and a business owner of her own tax and consulting firm, KB Tax & Consulting Services, LLC.

Robert Brooks

Lead Technical Service Analyst

Robert leads D2’s service delivery by being the go-to guy for solving technical problems in all contexts, including network and security items as well as foundational technology problems. Robert helps SMBs plan and protect themselves for the future with cutting-edge security practices and initiatives, but without losing sight of productivity and functionality needs of today. He is a Microsoft Certified Professional and a certified SonicWall Network Security Administrator. He possesses antivirus certifications in VIPRE Business Antivirus and SonicWall’s Capture Client specializations. Robert is an athlete and veteran traveler from York, PA who is passionate about orchestra. He is a long-time member of the Board of the York Youth Symphony Orchestra and has served as President of the Hunt Valley Symphony.

Technical Service Analyst

Max gets his hands dirty every day to work through technology problems, including individual day-to-day issues as well as wide-scale holistic challenges. Max helps businesses overcome technical challenges one problem at a time, with a special focus on problems related to networking and security. Max earned his B.S in Chemistry from Delaware Valley University and comes from a customer service background. He is a soccer player and soccer fan from Chalfont, PA who enjoys getting on the field himself and following the game professionally in various leagues.

Patricia Drummond

Business Manager

Patricia manages the day-to-day tasks needed to support the future growth of the company including reception, bookkeeping, client coordination, and sales support. She helps D2’s clients through the delivery of service agreements that suit their individual businesses and make their lives easier. Patricia also assists D2 in the critical administrative components inherent to all small businesses. She holds a B.S. in Biology from Towson University as well as an MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of Business. Patricia is an animal enthusiast and a foodie from East Norriton, PA. She also has a passion for knitting and creates truly amazing handmade beanies.

Zac Hallman
Zac Hallman
Technical Service Specialist

Zac solves the most complex technical problems that could possibly be thrown his way, including infrastructure design and management, software development and integration projects, and networking and security initiatives. With astounding efficiency and delivery, he helps businesses overcome every technical challenge they may be faced with. He has experience in the entirety of the IT family tree, including networking, servers and infrastructure, security, individual computing, and software development. Zac has completed major network overhauls for SMBs, transforming the way their technology functions. He is a quantum physicist by education and a boxer from Whitpain, PA. He enjoys working on his car and building homemade tools and solutions with his 3D printer.

Sean Parsons

Technical Development Specialist

Sean integrates customized software and developmental processes into business systems, including application creation, database reformatting, and migrations. Sean helps businesses connect the dots with software specifically designed to solve their unique challenges. He is a graduate of Penn State University’s Schreyer Honors College with a Bachelor’s degree in Security Risk Analysis with a focus in Cyber Security. He also earned a Master’s degree in Information Sciences and Technology with a focus in Data Science. He has experience as an intern at major tech companies Boeing and Microsoft. Sean is a creator and an entrepreneur. He enjoys building ideas from scratch and seeing them through into actionable results, as seen through his founding of Nittany Data Labs, one of the largest STEM clubs at Penn State which accumulated over 900 members.

Josh Romo

Technical Service Coordinator

Josh oversees the entirety of service delivery at D2, including day-to-day help desk operations and higher level project oversight and management. Joe helps SMBs work through their problems in a time and resource efficient manner by leveraging available personnel. He always finds a way to get the job done in the most sensible and straightforward way possible. Josh has CompTIA A+, Network +, and Security + Certifications, worked in the U.S. Army as an IT Specialist, and has experience supporting point-of-sale systems and networks for various well known restaurants across the country. Outside of D2, Josh is a chef and enjoys experimenting with new recipes from in his hometown of Warrington, PA. Josh also loves spending time with his dogs Buddy and Max.

Carlos Rosales

Technical Service Analyst

Carlos received his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Pontifical Catholic University of Ecuador. He is trained in managing databases and Microsoft SQL Server-based systems. He is also familiar with a range of other Microsoft solutions, including administration of their productivity and collaboration tools. Carlos is originally from Quito, the capital of Ecuador; is bilingual, speaking English and Spanish fluently; and has several years experience in customer service roles. His interests away from work include eSports tournaments, rock pop music, japanese food and culture, and travel. One of his great passions is sharing the food of his homeland and educating others on the natural beauty of Ecuador.

Chris deciphers technical challenges in a way that not only includes completing the task at hand but also making sure all parties are satisfied with the solution, and he provides the forethought needed to prevent future issues. Chris helps businesses weed through technical issues in a way that simplifies problems and converts them into solutions. Chris earned his B.A. in History from Hampshire College and has vast experience in customer service. He is a musician and a concert-goer from Fort Washington, PA. He enjoys being an avid learner, never passing by an opportunity to collect new knowledge in interesting topics, ranging from history to political philosophy to technology.

Tyler is an expert at supporting new business initiatives and account management for delivery of technical services. He has proven experience in sales and business strategy development and implementation. Tyler is also an effective communicator with a special talent for building mutually beneficial business relationships. He prides himself on an analytical ability to define trends and recognize opportunities that meaningfully impact sales results. Tyler is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder with a Bachelor’s degree in English literature. Though a native of Hatboro, Pennsylvania, he lived in Colorado from 2011 to 2020. When he’s not tracking new business and interfacing with clients, Tyler is a performing musician and music producer, as well as a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan.

Technical Service Analyst

Kyle tackles computer and technology problems with steadfast determination and consistent communication to see an issue through from cause to solution, including end-user desktop problems as well as network and security challenges. Kyle helps businesses increase their technological efficiency and is able to reliably work through difficulties at various scales. He is a graduate of Penn State University, with an A.S. in Information Sciences and Technology, where he gained experience working as a Level 2 Technician within the Finance and Business IT Department. Kyle is from Red Lion, PA and considers himself a ‘gym rat’ and a fan of good music. He also enjoys reading in his free time.
