Wish your remote employees could dial into MS Teams with just a phone number?

Did you know you can host MS Teams meetings with a phone number... for free?

Add Flexibility to Your Hybrid Workplace with Free Audio Conferencing from Microsoft

The modern workplace is increasingly hybrid. It’s in-office, remote, and a blend of the two. Which is why Microsoft announced in October of 2020 that it would begin offering Microsoft Teams Audio Conferencing at no cost for administrators. That’s right, for free.

Teams Audio Conferencing generates a toll or toll-free dial-in phone number for Teams (as set up by the administrator) so that users never miss an important meeting. There are many situations where this feature is highly worthwhile:

  • Remote internet connections are unreliable
  • Audio only meetings
  • Call quality is struggling on the stream
  • Users are required or prefer to connect hands-free

Dial-in users connect to Microsoft’s audio conferencing bridge, which answers with an automated attendant that records their name, notifies the meeting organizer, and verifies authentication with a PIN to start meetings.

It’s a smart way to give teams more options, and best of all, Microsoft is making this valuable communication feature freely available for a 12-month period. However, you only have until March 31, 2021 to sign up. Only meeting organizers require the license, not individual users.

As a Silver Microsoft Cloud CSP Partner, D2 can deliver this license immediately to eligible organizations, no payment or credit card required.
